We’re in this together, even though we’re apart. You’ve probably heard that a few times since March. Throughout all of this we have adapted, and guided our members—the dentists and dental offices in the province—on a framework for continued care.

In accordance with government guidelines we have prepared a plan to “re-open” dentistry beginning May 4.

Our plan is methodical and cautious. We will be implementing a careful, phased-in approach to welcome you back to your dental healthcare family. Your safety is our utmost priority.

Stay Smart – Do Your Part

These simple measures are proven effective in reducing your risk of transmitting or contracting COVID-19.
Do your part to avoid being infected, or infecting others.

STAY AT HOME
Socialize only with your family members. Do not have guests over or visit friends or family and avoid any large gatherings. Designate one person in your home to shop and have them go to the store only when you need essentials.
PHYSICAL DISTANCING
Physically stay at least 6 feet (2m) away from people whom you don’t share a house with. Avoid gatherings, public spaces, and buildings and work from home if possible.
WASH YOUR HANDS
Wash your hands frequently throughout the day and avoid touching your face at all times. Scrub with warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds.
COVER YOUR COUGHS
Always cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue. If you have a cough and it could be related to COVID-19, you must follow provincial guidelines.
CONSIDER A HOMEMADE MASK
Wearing a non-medical mask won’t protect you but it is an additional measure that can protect those around you. Click for further information including instructions on how to make your own.
